“La española” is located a block away from Villa de leyva's main squared. It has been designed as a boutique hotel. A small family own and operate hotel with not many rooms to be able to provide a personalized and charming service to all its visitors.

The house that used to be falimia Soler's own place, keeps its colonial original style and has some beatiful new architectual additions designed by Architech Orlando Florez, who has given it a personal and own style in order to offer a peacefull, cozy and unique time.

Although there are many stories about the origin of Boutique hotels, we identify ourselves with the one that says this kind of places started in Spain when people used to rent the rooms of their own houses to get extra money and they offered a very special and personal service to their guest.
